If dinosaur-headed Nazi super soldiers are your thing, you need to know about 'Danger 5', a new TV series made here in Australia on a budget of about $5. Two episodes have aired so far, and they are hilarious. Marvel as apparently 1960s secret agents battle Nazis (and Hitler himself) in a bizarre version of WWII, replete with secret bases under volcanoes and Zeppelins stealing the Eiffel Tower.
Very, very silly. But don't take my word for it, grab yourself a glass of Cinzano and watch it here.
There must be something in the air...this and Iron sky. Fianlly the world wakes up and sees Nazis as a source of humour. What was it someone said "how far would hitler have got if he had farted loudly at nurnberg?" :-D

Looks like the video link wont work outside of Australia. Just tied to watch it here in the UK and all you get is a message saying "This content is currently unavailable!"

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit saddened to see that this is only available in Australia at the minute, but I suggest that everyone who hasn't heard of Danger 5 before check out the following Youtube clip. I believe the same chaps are also responsible for Italian Spiderman. Both those things are available on Youtube, but here's Danger 5. It is, I agree with all who have praised it thus far, splendid!
