For the 'Mount and Rider' bonus round of Curt's Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge I submitted this figure from Eureka of a recce dino rider, somewhere in Russia in 1943. And blow me down if it isn't currently tying in second place in the voting, with less than 24 hours to go! I put this success down entirely to my decision to add a number plate to the dinosaur.
I'm chuffed that people like the figure, particularly in the company of some truly stunning entries.
Check them out here!
Sehr ausgezeichnet!
ReplyDeleteThough I think you'll find that the waffenfarbe of the Kriegclaw Korps was more of a rouge...
Nah- I reckon they were used more by recce units, so cavalry yellow :)
DeleteIt is a superb figure amongst some equally stunning entries :)
ReplyDeleteNever heard of these 'Kreigclaw' characters... sounds interesting.
That's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThat's some good painting right there.
ReplyDeleteWell done Dux!
I just noticed the details on the saddle blanket - yet another reason to like this figure, besides its gonzo over the top weirdness. This was an inspired entry.
ReplyDeleteHe got my vote. Cheers
ReplyDeleteVery nice! And I bet it was rewally fun to paint! Cheers!
